How long will it last?

How long do you think homgrown will last??
Do you think it is just going to get bigger or do you think it will slowly fade away?

I want it to fade away, so that in 5 years when I go try to get my pilot seen, itl be all, fresh + new

Its not gona fade away anytime soon, just the groups will change, old groups will end and new ones will start.. Maybe the content of peoples videos will change, like at the moment most groups seem to be into stunts, perhaps there'll be a new fad like tiddlywinks and everyone will be filming that instead.

And if one group goes and makes it big maby one from here would you think of them as a sell out?

Its definately continuing to massively expand. Really, homegrown isn't so underground anymore. I give it a long time, its not a short lived phase

I think if one group from here went mainstream then it'd be an opportunity for other groups aswell cause if they were decent people im sure they'd help out other groups on the forum, guest appearances/ showing other peoples footage etc. and they could plug hgf too. If they just got loads of money and like left the forum or ripped the shit out of other groups then I'd consider them a sellout.

But I think at least one group from here is bound to go mainstream eventually.

all things go through droughts skating did so did homegrown a few years ago when pickled eggs and fonky quit no one was in homegrown really cept like webby and spdst but that really isn't the same as now everyone has a homegrown group

it will get bigger in the next 2 years I garuntee it, I just hope freak.inc gets picked up in the current

its going to get bigger, thats why THC is getting new members and trying harder to film more. but tenneese will be big for us because we will have the opertunity to film the whole time and during the day.

I don't believe in toplists and I never really promote freak.inc cause we never have a stable site to make buttons for, at least not yet

so if there is a big media swarm im just hoping some dudes will mention freak.inc out of the goodness of there heart so we can get a taste

im hoping though this dvd will be pretty controversial in arkansas so we get some news play that would rock so much

I've been filming shit since like 2000, but never had a computer or had seen cky. Had no clue what homegrown was til I found the small internet community.

I',m sure if HG died out and in 50 years I showed a kid a good RetardZ vid, they would start filming dumb shit with their insane tiny little 5 chip cameras with little people in them

Yeah, because cameras and technology is becoming more readily availible to the public. Not because people just realized shit like this was entertaining, but because now they can do it and before you couldent edit videos without having some really expensive setup!
