Well in our school they just let the police deal with you as well as give there own punishment. It doesnt matter if you started it or anything even if you stand there and let them beat the shit out of you, you will still get in trouble.

when my friend got into a fight he gave a kid 11 stiches in his lip, all the school did was take it to the school board and they said if he gets into anymore fights he is expelled from the school district (which would mean had have to move to a different school) and then he got a 3 week suspention. but I live in Canada it may be different there.
