Ever since that stupid movie napolean dynamite people keep saying their favorite animal is a liger. most people thought that ligers aren't real. they are. you dont see them in the wild because the tyger and lion are enemies. they dont have spikes or magical powers but they are HUGE, possibly because the growth genes come from different sexes between the lion and tiger. and, you dont see them in the wild because they have to eat 100 lbs of raw meat for each meal. assuming they have 3 meals a day, that's 300 lbs of meat a day. here's what one liger owner feeds ligers:
I'm assuming that it would be a pain in the ass to clean up after them. An average male liger weighs over 900 pounds and standing almost 12 feet tall.
now, about that growth genes things. a liger's father was a lion and it's mother was a tyger. the opposite of a liger is a tigon. but tigons are small. the childeren that come from ligers that reproduce with a tiger are called a titi, and ligers that reproduce with lions are called lilis.

People often ask what our big cats eat. They love to eat something called, King Lion diet, which is made basically by taking a horse, a cow, a couple of pigs and a flock of chickens and putting them into a blender on high with all they parts and pieces. This ends up looking like a raw bloody meatloaf. They also enjoy restaurant quality chicken thigh quarters and chunk beef.
