seems really good but..

I Don't see anything about Firewire. If it doesnt allow you do hook it up to firewire then forget it. Don't use USB.

Well it's not me who's getting it, where gonna use it for stunts and skits, that's what where getting it for.

My mate want's it, he's getting it cheap as he is in Tenerife, he can get it for cheap, but he said he will have to send away for repairs and stuff, in my opinion I'd rather him get a Sony aswell, but he wants it really badly I believe. so I just wanted to no what everyone thinks??

But ye, for stunts and skits we are gonna use it for, we will have to angles if he gets it, should be better.

so basically im not gonna be able to change his mind, so I just wanna no what is good about it and what's not, as from what it says, I can't work out if it's good or bad, so I don't need any suggestions for what cam to get, just is it a good/bad cam? and why??

thanks.

how cheap is "cheap"?

how good it is related directly the how much you're going to pay for it.

If you can make sure you get an extended warranty, I've had my whole handycam replaced three times for free with it.

If you truly want the best quality, dont use Mini DV. Just get one that is Digital 8, or Digital Betacam. Most people dont know that, but that is the truth... Although if you are just going to use it for skits, and stunts, then video quality wont be a huge problem...

Noooooo stay away from JVC. I already broke two of them, horrible quality and horrible reliabilty. Get a Sony or Canon.

Right the price is approx rrp £500 - £600 I believe, but it's not for sure but my friend said he could get it for 66 euros??? well I don't exactly belive it buy anyway.

The biggest misconception of this cam is the qaulity of the video and it's quality in low-light, but, JVC have improved it, find reviews on this cam, nearly everywhere you read it says it has new and improved lense, megabird quality, or something. Im not to sure what it is, but from what I've read it's one of JVC's newsest and best cam's, a lot of work has gone into this I belive.

But anyway, if all that JVC claim is true, then I don't see why this can't be a good cam...right?

and also, Mini DV are good quality, but buying a Digital Betacam? like how much are they? pretty pricey I belive.

66 euros? wtf, sure its not sposed to be 660 euros?
and for £600 you could prolly get a better camera than that but if you did actually mean 66 euros then go for it.

No, no, the camera is all real, but I also dont belive the 66 euros myself, and he doesnt want to get a different camera, I've told him to get a Sony, or at least take your time deciding, but I haven't spoken to him for two days or so, so he may have it or not, I'm gonna try and tell him to get a different cam if not, seems what most people think,

and I guess for 66 euros, there must be no warranty or anything with it, but he does lie a lot. well anyway I'll see how it goes, the cam is better than nothing.
