what refresh rate are you on?

and check the processes in task manageer to see if there is anything unusual making it be slow.

Either your screen, your graphics card or your GC drivers are dud man. Try reinstalling the graphics cards drivers first to see if it makes any diff

its prob the memory is screwed. Check whats running on your PC on startup

Or just use "MSCONFIG" (Click run>type msconfig)do a basic startup and see if that works ok. After that just start everything one by one until you find what is making itrun slow.

Defrag your PC.

Clean it out and recover disk space.

Do CTRL+ALT+DELETE to bring up the task manager, have a look at the programs using up all the memory and if you don't need them, be rid...

Defragmenting definately will not help in this case. On a Windows OS, it either works or doesn't

if he has fuck all memory then his pc is probably runnin on virtual memory and slowing it down, but if he has got sufficient ram then this is not the case. and yeah defraging wont work

I have this program called fast defrag its pretty cool it defrags in like 30 seconds and shows you how much you have free and how much you are useing.
