As you all know, there are maany different adobe premiere versions out. I hear people talking about Pro, 5 and 6.5. I have 6.5 and think its a decent program just wanna get to know how to edit with it. What is the easiest and best version out of all of them?

the 2st one would be easyer cos it proberly has less features. while the later versions would be better because bugs are fixed and usually has more features.

I use to have adobe 6.5. it was semi-easy to use. but now I use adobe pro. I think its alot better, little harder to learn but its worth it.
edit it previews shit faster too.

I had pro and I liked it but if your clips are saved in .avi it totally fucks them up when u add them.

I ahve both pro and 6.5 I end up using 6.5 most of the time. Its because its the first editing program I actully used and got to know.

I mean one of my cameras clips are in .avi format and they play fine before I put them in and then they get like unusably blocky once I add them. I finally fuckin stopped using the program since it was pissing me off so bad

6 and 6.5 is all you need.
Edit in 6.5, export to DVD and al lthat in it, use 6 to export to wmv....
Ignore Pro.
