I want to burn divx avi movies that I´ve downloaded to a dvd (that you can watch with dvdplayer)... how do I do that? Maybe if I could convert it or something or... just tell me.

Okay, burn a vcd... I could live with that, its just Nero doesnt burn divx avi.

Don't you need to convert the AVI to MPEG or something?
Maybe ask Craig from BTD he knows about DVD burning stuffs.

Yeah dude, has to be MPEG to burn. Some dvd programs convert automatically though.

aren't the next generation dvds playes gonna play divx anyway, so in the future we wont have this problem.

Download a copy of TMPGEnc, I think it's a trial veraon, but you can crack it if you know how 
Open up the .avi file in it, then simply play with the settings, and convert to mpg.
mpg/mpeg 1 = VCD (S)VCD format
mpeg2 = DVD format

Hey cool- its MONO- the cock guy from the ckf!
ANYWAYS- use a program called "VSO DivxToDVD" no joke- thats what I use. TMPGEnc is good- but for other things!
So say you download an .avi file (doesnt matter divx or xvid), you can convert that file to DVD in a little under an hour.
Then you Burn it to DVD using NERO.

Actually mpg is vcd format, mpg2 is svcd format, and mpg4 is dvd format. Carry on.
