Need some advice....

Ive come to yet another crossroad in my life.

Two choices have presented themself to me.

1.Be stunt cordinator and actor in the Troma movie "Poltreyguiest"

2.Take a job at This Film Vault place for warner brothers

Here are the pro's and cons for each.

Movie Pros
-Great life experiance
-Get to do stunts on an actual movie
-Looks great on a resume
-Get multiple screen credits
-Get to die in a troma movie
-Place to stay while im out their
-Will still have a job at blockbuster when I return

Movie Cons
-Spending nearly 2 months in buffalo, new york
-Missing my little brothers birthday
-Missing a wrestling match that would take place in augest
-My friend fredryk phox would have to wait till I get back to move in.
-Spending around 1000 dollars of my own money for plane ticket and food for the next 2 months.
-Can't take the film vault job


Job Pro's-Steady job at the bottom of the film industry
-10 an hour starting
-Lots of room for promotion
-Make some contacts in the film industry
-Nice work enviroment (that ive seen so far)
-In town so I can wrestle, film, and everything
-Fredryk can move in whenever

Job Con's
-Lots of hours
-Cant be in troma movie


So thats my choice...not totally sure which way to go....I kinda have my mind set on the movie...but would hate to lost this job opportunity.
Any suggestions?

Not that I know anything about anything, but I'd take the movie choice. May sound cold, but so what if you miss your brother's birthday. If you want to be successful in a job, youv gotta make personal sacrifices. It all comes back tenfold in the end after the hard work.

I personally would go with the more stable job (#2), but I dunno. It's really up to you. If you're in the movie you can always say you were in a movie...hmmmm....

I'd personally take the job as it offers better security and on a more permanent contract based wage. There would also be no pressure to do things incredibly well from a movie perspective. Although opting for the movie could get you bigger things and you could move on to more known things if they like your work and think you have talent.

Meh, fuck it. I'd go for the movie, just make sure you do get paid!

I think movies are cool.... but steady job is nice.

If I had those options I would turn them both down, as I dont believe in work.

But if you want work and money...go for the job. Troma is a joke.

go for the first option dude, sacrificing some things leads to one big amazing payoff.

movie choice, jobs suck and maybe this will furthur boost you reputation as a stunt co ordinator

yeah I think I would go with the movie seems that if you did well it would boost your rep and you could probally get to do some cool stuff. By the how good is the money for both of them???

if he took the job it would be a steady pay check, but if he did the movie it would be a one time payment, but it could boost his rep and make it possible for him to get even more cool job offers

Man sounds like a pretty tough decision I hope you do well in whatever you decide..............and get us all free copys of that movie of course

take the 2nd option.. has better Pros, and less cons. plus like u said room for promotion and u can carry on with fights while getting contacts in the industry

Looks like there are more cons with the movie, but I would wanna be in the movie personally, and maybe then you can apply again for other job later on. Cool oppertunities though.
