On the new video for Slipknot (I think its called VERMILION) the girl is moving all slow and everything is moving fast...
iv asked something like this before, when the cam moves slow and everything moves fast.
but this has everything BUT the girl moving fast

she just walks extremely slowly, when I mean slowly I mean like a step every 30 seconds, or minute or so, then its all just sped up on editing, giving the illusions shes walking normal speed whilst everything else is going super fast.
same princible really for anything else in tht vid really

When you film, the person to be walking slow, walks atleast 3 times slower and everyone else normal or a little faster. Speed it all up on PC.....

Sad to say, thats all done with a blue screen.
You film the actors dancing or doing whatever they are doing in normal motion,keep in mind to film alot of this, depending on how quickly you want them to move compared to the other person. then film the person walking past in front of a blue screen at the same distance you did for the first part.
Then just add the first video as the background for the blue screen and just speed up the background video

dont think so because she interacts with peopls :S o well I both could work..
I thought it was moving real slow too..must of taken her time cos it the start the closk spins round alot

I dont think they used it for this video, cos shes not moving really cleanly, if u watch the video, u would see tht its just her going really slow and then its all jsut sped up

I doubt it was done on blue screen...as she is interacting with the background...also doesnt look blue screened...its not hard to tell the difference
In the shots where the background is fast and she is slow....she just didnt move much and they sped it up..
The proper way to do it would green screen it though...so that you would have some layers to work with. Same principles as photoshop..

yeah im sticking with the, her moving slow, everything else fast idea.
man they must of had to be real patient to do that. cant think slipknot to be like that, meh who cares.

After watching it, im gonna have to go with her just moving really slow.
Cept for the end shot, I like to think that was done with bluescreen, wait for the sun to come up would take forever

What an effect, I'll have to remember that. I never thought of her walking slow and everyone normal to speed up when editing
