Whats your goal?

Everyone in homegrown does what they do for one reason or another. What is your goal? What would you like to accomplish?

As Ive said before...the majority of the stuff you see me doing in my videos is stuff I do normally...reguardless of whether its being filmed or not...IE - drinking, partying, shooting, having sex, etc. Our videos are pretty much a reflection of our lives. Sometimes we do stuff specifically for the camera of course, but mostly...whatever happens...happens.

Anyways...there are quite a few reasons as to what were trying to accomplish. For one...I love the idea of people actually enjoying watching our lives. I think its awesome. If my life is entertaining to people...Im as happy as can be. I like how most people we know personally who watch our shit go "wtf I cant believe you did that". So...one of our goals is to get some attention...for lack of a better word. Also we would like to make some profit.

My goal would be to get more hardcore, and to get new ideas! I think overcoming my fear of flipping from a big height will lead me to better stuff, but I just can't do it.

same with us, what is filmed is our lives, we started by jumping from tree's as kids, and finnaly decided to film it, and it went from there.

when I was younger I saw some norwegian homegrown videos that I just fucking loved,I found theese insanely cool
in 97 or 98 a gang called bad neighbourhood released a 15.min clip with stunts,bmx,skiing,mopeds, cars and just general messin around,

it had a kickass soundtrack and at the time genious editing
it was unlike anything ive ever seen ,it was just fucking great

That video and some others are still very important to me,I still got them and still watch them regulary

so I just want to make clips like that,which stays with people

that and I want to improve my filmmaking skils
and thats about it

my goal is to get loads of respect 4 the stunts I do

we used to mess around alot in our class at lunch, jumping of stacked chairs etc. one day we decided to film it.

I guess our goal it to be known by as many people as possiable for havening good footage. we want people to go WOW thats cool, or holy shit I cant believe he did that.

To have my own production company (Born To Die Productions), make many films, and eventually get into the mainstream market with different types of movies, become a little richer and perhaps famous...

My personal goal right now is to get our movie ready. heck I dont even care if it would suck ass, because I jsut want to get it ready... its really stressfull when ppl go"when is your movie gonna be ready" all the time... and we promised that it would be ready by the end of last summer... =/ so its very much delayed allready... stresses me out... Sounds like a very healthy fear... but you gotta start flipping into water from heights of 2-5meters.. and its best to have a longsleeve t-shirt on and preferably pants... to avoid the nasty bitchslap effect that happens if and when you come down on your back or etc....

my goal really is to just have fun for with what I do. I know that there is probably no chance of taking this to a new level, I just see it as fun. I love filming and editing when I can be botherd, but I see my self being a network admin or consultant in the future. but if I could take what we do to another level I would without a doubt. I love the homegrown scene and will post here for as long as possible, there is some amazing talent here and some developing that are getting better and better. I would love to say wow, "I know them guys" one day. and have all the respect in the world for you guy. the thing with my group is there are only 2 of us that I would consider xcore (in a sense). the others are all pussies. me and mickwood from my group are up for anything, its just we dont have the time or resources lately. but if we dont develop I would love to see you guys develop, thats why if any of you need help with somthing if I can lend a hand I will without doubt. I think the future of hgf looks bright and holds alot of potential in my eyes.

We dont really have a goal...it would be nice if wee were well known and liked..I guess thats are goal..

My goal is to help young homegrown groups get off the ground. I don't get time to make a homegrown group, so its nice to come back, sit at the PC and watch others clips. Maybe, I'm boring..

My goal, and I think our goal (muppets) is to make a dvd that is of a high quality in both content and production, something we gain respect from and say like 'I was in that'. Sounds cheesy, but true.

my goal is to just basically make people laugh, and get our website out there. All of our footage is moslty us being bored, and I just carry my camera around with me and then just film what ever happens is its cool.

our goal is to get better which we have from are first movie which really sucked and get noticed on the HGF's because were pretty new not much people notice us we barly get any comments on are vids on the hunt 3 haha and there pretty good but it mostly to get noticed get some vids out get are site made alot better stuff like that

because im pretty much just a member that does alot of the shit I would like to be more daring then I already am like with jumpin off shit but I will soon I already acomplised the goal of makin people laugh

yeah we want to get noticed and get better we r making our 2nd dvd which should be out in august and if u buy it there are bonus featuers and 1 of them is our 1st movie and u can tell from watching that that we have gotten alot better. if you go to our site we dont have to many stunt vids and that is because we are saving them for movie but by next month ill have a trailer made

To create something that entertains people.

I do what I want

well I generally love it when people come up to me, like my boss the other day, and say something along the lines of- "you are seriously fucked up in the head you know". I love the fact that people can find what I enjoy and love doing entertaining. And so my goal for HG wise would be generally just to meet new people with a similar attitude to life, such as many of you here; to get experience and learn key saftey features for stunts; and generally to get better at what I do.

to get some sort of tv show on the local station downtown

I have said this many times, we have been doing this stuff even before a camera it's what we do, and we like to see people enjoying watching us do it

I want to start a media company like indecline when I grow up, I want to do hg stuff skating and all kinds of different things, I want to become a better editor

I want to be considered one of the best in the field that I do my work in, I.e. homegrown

My goal is to entertain myself and my friends. Sure it would be cool to have some fame but that's not my main point.
People usually just think "that dude tries to be something cos he does those things" but the fact is that we don't even
film third of that shit that would be cool to caught on tape

Some shit here geez... You know there is actually psygological studies about people like us, dont remember where I can find em, but I know people do this for attention and thrills. Everyone of you. Psygological studies tell me.

I dont know why, but also people like us have artistc eye for new standards: meaning people like photoshop and editing (specially in hg), you know, skaters for one. Everyone of them likes drawing or sumshit. I cant explain myself in finnish, so why I even bother in english.


Anyway, I do this because I want to see good videos that entertain me, and if I do videos myself I can do them the way that pleases me. I dont have to wait another group with similar taste to come along and entertain me.

Oh yeah, doine em is fun too.

I dont know I havent stopped this post yet.

I Think La Fenix goal its to have some attention, we all love to appear, to be notice, who don't, I think just like WEAK... I love the ideia of people that like to watch us, and it happens, I love when some person stops me on the street and says: "You are crazy man, how do you do that?" hahhaahaha I think that no money can pay the emotion that I feel with those kinds of thing, I do all these videos because I like to, its one thing that makes me feel good, yeah I hurt myself a lot of times, but the pain will pass, but the videos stays... My family dont aprove what I do and that makes my sad sometimes, but whatever... I dont do this for money, but if I had an opportunity to make money with those kinds of things, sure I will try it.
