ok So as some of u gamers know gates has planned to release Halo 3 for the XBox 360 on the exact same day as the PlayStation 3 sooo which one r u getting??

I have and ps2 and xbox, must say the xbox is better as no game apart from GTA is better than Halo and also Fable which I have, I will probably get both of them and also am interested on the new nintendo which might be the biggest console in the future as they are developing like a nintendo virtual thing which is the size of a TV. It all sounds hawt.

I dont know really.... I was gona buy a PS2 until I found out about PS3.
But I did like the xbox (Dont own one but my bro has one)
But as I am a Final Fantasy fan ill prob never get a xbox.
I find the xbox is just for button bashers. gets boring for me after a day or two

I never understand why people care so much about "consoles".
the only positive thing about consoles is that it's fun to play when u got back from a club with some mates and have nothing to do.
negative things:
- you need to buy a new one every fucking year.. its gay.
- you can't do shit with them except playing way too expensive games.
- the games you buy disappear under the dust after a while
- you need to buy memory cards and shit haha.. come on.
- FPS on consoles suck.. the controls are so bad.. I just want to strafe with my keyboard.
- most of the time the consoles aren't really powerful compared to a computer and get quickly outdated.
why dont u people see this? well jeej there's some games that only get released for the consoles but who cares.. u can live without them believe me.

The same could be said for PCs. You have to update the GFX card every now and then (About the same as a PS2 or whatever)
I think a PS3/2/xbox/gc/ is good cos it uses less power and also is smaller thena PC. Plus less to do.
But then again I only own a GC now and prob will never get anything for ages.... so I see ya point. But I also see the pointsof PS2s+ also.

well about GFX cards.. I never understand that as well heh.. ok well I've been living under a rock when it comes to games but these game people were already buying new GFX cards every 2 months while I could still play everything with a Geforce2 card.. yeah laugh.. but it worked and looked alright so I didnt see the prob.

You have a point. But some games do need a new one.
I payed loads for my PC and it was intened for games. But now I never use it for games (Apart from my GF whp plays The SIMS 2)
But maybe this is just cos I am getting older.....
And if I was gona play a game I like I would never work cos it would take all my time up
But to the point.... Alot of games taht are for PS2/3/Xbox/ do not all come on the PC.... and when they do they dont play as well.
So I guess thats the reason.

I have an awsome pc and a ps2. I play both. im gonna buy a ps3 when its out. but im not an Xbox hater, I like playing on it too, but only a few games. most GOOD games on Xbox can be found on the pc (halo) so I have the best of bothworlds with a ps2 and pc

im getting both, but I think halo is going down hill, I like the original better than the second the only thing I like is banshee's in multiplayer.
