Just lower the export quality in whatever program you are using. I know that on the highest level when I exported footage once, I used 2 gigabytes per 10 minutes. Lower it mang

I compress all my raw footage into the best quality divx possible and if you have the codec and use premere or windows movie maker your good to go and a 1gb raw file is like 60mb in divx tho I only do that on my laptop cuz it only has like 60gb to start with

I have 2 186gb hard drives, one for music, vids, pics and anything else, other only for my footage, and I've got 60gb left, when I get to about 10gb, I'm gonna get rid of the shitty stuff, and shorten the lenght of my footage down, as alot of it is just crap.

Basically I think you should gat a new hard drive, if you can, or burn to DVD's I don't think there's an easy way to do this.

I would just by another hard drive. They arent too expensive..

I use a 200 gig internal and a Maxtor 200 gig external. Gets the job done. I also take every DV-AVI into premiere and cut the shit I dont need off the clip...then just export it out as a DV-AVI...it loses no quality..and cuts down on the undeeded shit. Right now I have about 1500 DV-AVI's.
