hey all
im gonna go buy my PC 2day and need some info on these Graphics Cards

ATI MSI RX600 128mb VTD PCI-EXPRESS

ATI Radeon 9600XT 256mb

Which ones better for gaming, video editing etc

nah im kinda sorta not really biggrin.gif getting tort about all the different types of computers and drives and video cards at school in TIM. my teacher said
"the more megabytes a computer or computer component has, there is a severe likelihood that it will more often than not be the best".

so im just going off what he said

Reffering to Mr Fang; Thats not neccesarily true at all. In graphics cards, some 128's way out -perform the performance of 256's, this is due to when you have sufficient memory to run a game anyway, more memory won't make a difference, its the width of the pipelines that count.

Seeing as these are made by the same manufacturer I'm willing to bet the latter is actually better in performance as its most likely newer, however not having had any prior experience with these graphic cards, I cannot reccomend either myself. Personally I'd browse the Nvidia range, as I prefer them to ATI, but nevertheless, I doubt a high end ATI card would differ much in performance to a high end Nvidia card. I reccomend you google some reviews on both cards to see what the feedback on them is
