I haven't been promoting my site lately and not having any new videos has hurt our totals too. That may be a good thing though. The last 2 times I released a new video, our hosting booted us for using our bandwidth up.

But as of now, based off of the last 3 months, we're looking at between 6500-7500 visitors per month, with about 25000-30000 page views per month. Episode downloads are around 2000-2500 per month. Because they average about 27 unique skits per episode (with the best of included), that would be the equivalent of 54,000 to 68,000 individual skit/stunt video downloads per month.

You think they will?

Not sure. prob will. If they dont someone will.

877 unique in less than a day is pretty good

I know when LNDL got in the news with the Sun, their traffic was off the charts. My site was still in its prime then and they were beating us soundly on the 100. From what I could tell, their daily traffic went up to about 4-5000 visits a day. So if Retardz gets a good visible plug like that, they should expect the same if not more. It's too bad these "plugs" can't ever come under better cicumstances.

Once I've made some good videos I plan on trying to get my site plugged on a radio station. That should help.

I have pasted our stats since July of last year, we have some good months and bad months. I attribute our traffic to being around for 10 years along with our advertising. We have street crew members in SLC, Seattle, Portland, NYC, and we also travel to Louisana, San Francisco and Las Vegas. The cheapest way of advertising is pasting bills and stencils plus stickers.

Paste is good since a lot of people don't understand what it is and they try the wrong shit to get it off. Plus it costs around 2 dollars to make a fat bucket of it. (2 gallons I think)

Stickers, you can get cheap vinly stickers from a couple of places, also I suggest crack and peel stickers too. Those are those paper stickers, but throw them on glass and news stand covers and they are a bitch to get off.

Spray paint: Another cost effective way to advertise. You can make stencils and bomb shit quick. Plus you can go as big as you want...

These are just a few common methods to use for your street crew. Keep in mind vandalism is bad, so um... make sure you own the property you are destroying.

Another thing is go out a lot, network - get a lot of locals at bars and clubs involved. Currently we have 36,890 photos in our gallery... how this helps is you get a lot of people that want to see them selves on the internet. The more popular you get the more people want to get naked for you and the more they tell their friends, etc. Word of mouth is our biggest form of advertising and the proof is in the pudding.

P.S. If you have your own domain you can watch your rank on alexa.com, the smaller the number the higher your rank. This is calculated by search engines, etc. As far as that jackass top 100 shit goes, fuck pop ups and banners. We have never had them, sure I am broke as fuck - but I gots no ugly ads that I traded my soul for a couple extra links.

Whats the easier way to get hits on a site?

Theres no easy way man. Good content doesen't hurt though.

Do shit that pisses people off, photoshop some Micheal Jackson photos, etc. Send a link to the MJ fan club anonymously and thousands of people will roll in. If they are funny some stay and poke around other places. The best way though is just keep doing shit to peak peoples interest. If we slow down I can see the traffic fall. It's hard for us, we go for all original content so we arn't like all of those other cookie cutter stile project sites that just use the same old shit for content. It's hard to keep fresh shit coming but its something you have to do. Once people know they can always find something new they stop in more often, if they like it they tell a friend.

Also put a link to your site on every e-mail you send, every forum thread you respond to, basically anything digital so search engines cache your shit. It's not something that will happen over night, unless you post paris hilton porn or other famous people fucking, but then again they arn't there for you.

Also use meta tags like:

Shit like that search engines look for, so put some stuff in there you want seach engines to cache, but don't be to vague - so in other words don't put movies, since there are already billions of sites cached under movies - do shit to set you apart.

What'd you make your site in kenny? notepad or using a program?

A lot of it is custom php and html, on occasion due to time restrictions and just trying to get shit done I will use an html editor - the one I prefer is macromedia dreamweaver.
