dose anybody know how to slow down or speed up video on vegas 4.0

Right click>insert envelope>velocity. :two cents:

upgrade man as soon as you can.. dunno if it works in the older vegas, but in newer versions you can hold shift and drag out an event to time stretch it

I think the only thing sony software is good for is dvd menu creation stuff.

I just got vegas 5 and I dont quite get it either.. Do you have to have the video selected in an envelope? And do you use the 'rate' switchey thing to the left to change speed?
