not green day's fault there so good they can't stay underground.
they had all that frustration to sing about, now there just so highly regarded it's impossible to have the same rage. thats why everyone goes political.
it's what happened to eminem, relapse is sick as fuck though.
this album is green day going back to being more poetic, sounds like all there stuff all together, including american idiot.

I really don't like American Idiot that much (nor have I listened that much to Green Day), but it's one of those albums that's been played so much, you can't help but having some memories connected to the songs. Haven't heard the new stuff though.
