I agree Ben, Facebook chat is great, so many emoticons to display your feelings to your conversation partner. And a range of quick and easy text-formatting options that really make IMing flexible and fun. I couldn't recommend it enough.

Yeah, I think it knocks the shit out of MSN. I haven't actually been on MSN in about 6 months, purely because facebook chat is so much easier. BTW is there a way you can block individual people on it while keeping them as a friend?

I'm never on MSN anymore either, fb chat is so much handier, except it's a little too buggy.

If you make a group for your friends called blocked you can just move people in there and block that specific contact group.

I agree it's way too buggy. But it would be really good if a little more effort was put into developing it.
