Hey guys tonight I'm going to be filming a band and I'm rather confused as to how I should film it with one camera. Where should I stand? So yeah any help would be appreciated.

you should stand at the back, less of a chance that the audio will peak.
the sides of the stage are good too.

Stand in the back, so as not to obstruct the view for the entire audience with your incredible girth.

If they want you to make a music video of one specific song, do this....

Film the show with closeups of each band member other then the singer during every other song

Get group and lead singer shots for the song they want to do the video of

some behind the scene shit is good to get too if you find yourself fucked at any point.

the other instruments are easier to link up to any other song then the singer is.

Good luck!

With one camera I'd say point and shoot!

No but just do what Leroy said. And if you at the back, for fuck sake use a tripod!
