I just went and watched Inglourious Basterds and honestly, I think it is probably the best movie of the year so far. It is funny as hell, has some whicked fight seens and has a great storyline. The only downside is that there is alot going on and it gets kinda boring at points, but other than that, this movie kicked some serious ass!

yes, british secret service is one man in a large empty room, sitting in an arm chair.
Mike myers was such an awesome choice.
80 power rock during the girl putting on lipstick was a little tarintino on e or something.

I think that there were some long sections you're right but they really helped to be the tension. Like the whole first scene the tension just builds and builds cause it's so long, and in the bar.

I saw it yesterday, pretty good stuff, good carrying power...
I was just dissappionted by the lack of action though

Too much action means not enough attachment to the characters and not enough story.
Fucking loved it, fight stuff was awesome. def 5 out of 5.
Also, did anyone notice the weird blood splatter effects when people got shot? I've never seen anyone do it like that before, and it felt so real.
