I saw it opening night
everythign about it was good
was hopeing for a better "banger" of a ending
but I think they put all the bangers prob a 3rd of a movie in
and maybe a few scenes at the end
I do not wanna spoil it, but trust me, its worth the money
from getting beat by a belt from some swinger party chick to insulting a terrorist leader in isreal
I give it 4.5 thumbs up

One of my friends saw it last night and said that people starting walking out of the theater during the movie because of how vulgar it was.
That's a good sign. Plan on seeing it tomorrow.

Perhaps they were homophobic.

Probably, I do live in Arkansas after all. Calling a redneck gay is the worst thing you can do. They proudly express their love for vagina.

Bruno was pretty amazing. Far better than Borat I thought, and I loved Borat.
The hunting trip part with the tents was awesome.
17 July 2009, 10:33 UTC#26
this film was so staged it was unreal.
17 July 2009, 10:41 UTC#27
Yeah, hated Borat because of the staged parts.Ruined the (possible) real parts as well.

I personally didn't mind the staged bits in Borat because it worked well with the rest of the film. Bruno on the other hand tried too hard to be outrageous and had too much "plot" scripted into parts which otherwise could've been brilliant. It just irritated me that there were so many cunts in the cinema (like the guy sitting next to me) who were all "OH MY GAWWWWWWD! WHAT IS HE LIKE?! OUTRAGEOUS" at stuff that was clearly fake.
17 July 2009, 18:03 UTC#29
I thought this was going to be better than borat even though bruno was my least favorite character.
so many genius scenes in there. was wack that it was nearly the same story from borat.
17 July 2009, 19:46 UTC#30
I never thought of Borat as a public stunt movie with some staged scenes in it, but as a scripted movie with some non-scripted scenes in it, so the staged scenes in Borat never bothered me.
