Right, I've been using these piece of shit speakers for like 6 years which sound like tin cans farting out noise.
I don't want anything crazy, just a decent set that'll sound nice up to a price tag of around £50.
Suggestions guys?
Oh yeah, I know fuck all about this stuff so talk to me like a retard and patronize me loads.

Kane. does it make a difference if they plug into USB versus the traditional little green prong holes that most mics/headphones/speakers plug into?

But I still think they are awesome, specially for the price. Also there is quite a lot power in them even though they are just small pc speakers. I provided music to a garden party with those.

USB speakers are weak because they're mostly portable. 3.5 are more reliable.

Anything Bose or Logitech will do great.
