Well there's shit loads of things that happen in the month leading up too the parade which is on the 1st of August, but that's the main event. There's a parade from the seafront at like 11am that goes too a massive park in Brighton, then there's a massive party there for hours with music, bars, DJ's, Dance tents, Fair and all that shit, then after that in the evening people generally head back towards the seafront and the city centre where theres loads of special club nights and stuff going on, especially in and around st James's street which is like Gay central in Brighton, Homosexuals swinging off lamp-posts and coming out the gutters and shit.

If you make up some fake charity badges, and say you have been fund raising around brighton for the day you can usualy get a BNB for £25 insted of £40/£50, I work for these guys (www.active8online.org) on the weekend and I stay all over the UK I have never paid more than £25 quid for a room. also... B&B for all those who wanna no, u can find some in btown for as little as £12 a night (if not less now).. my mate had to do it for a few weeks till halls had space for him last yr lol
