Fuck music.

First, shitty swedish hardcore band Totalt Jävla Mörker plays 3 songs, in about a minute.

Then Dilated Peoples gives me some hip hop for 30 minutes.

Metallica plays the Master of Puppets album, about 45 minutes I think.

After that, Eagles of Death Metal plays some proper rock n' roll, 30 minutes.

Queens of the Stone Age plays for one and a half hours. I get fucked up on shrooms, dream about fucking some hot chick, then brag about it to my friends (who believes me).

Nobuo Uematsu starts things off softly as he personally conducts a full orchestra playing epic Final Fantasy scores as people enter the grounds and generally chill out w/ drink, druq, etc. Gigantic video screens display characters and movies from the games interspersed with nostalgia-inducing quotes. For One-Winged Angel, a choir is revealed at the sides of the stage as a pair of black curtains drop.

The final massive crescendo builds immediately into the first Saosin song - dream gig, no waiting between acts - It's Far Better To Learn. This starts off real slow, prolonging the first drum riff and building up to the set. When they play I Can Tell, Anthony Green replaces Cove Reber on lead vocals, making the whole audience wet themselves.

Four Year Strong take to the stage and the party kicks off. The whole act is balls-to-the-wall, over the top fun. They got fireworks launching straight into the sky, fuckin' skaters in a half pipe behind the band - it's proper cheesy, but hilarious and awesome. Throughout the set, on the back wall of the stage, a team of artists creates a huge graffiti piece with neon paints. The band play their entire second album interspersed with key choices from It's Our Time, finishing big with Maniac.

Minus The Bear bring it down a notch allowing people to recover from dehydration/spontaneous ejaculation. It's a chilled set, with no loss in energy or emotion from the band. We Are Not A Football Team is played acoustically; for the final chorus of "We're still out at ten in the evening" Jake Sinder lets the crowd take it. It's both beautiful and brilliant.

FINALLY, the mystery headlining act is revealed: the black curtain at the back falls away to show a massive Union Jack with The Who scrawled across it. The crowd goes fucking mental. This is a no bullshit set and no one expects any different. No dancing, no pyrotechnics, just Roger Daltrey and the boys singing some amazing songs. They open with a crowd pleaser, I Can See For Miles, but it's literally just the beginning.
When the time comes to deliver Won't Get Fooled Again (at its full unedited 8 minute running time), Daltrey's voice on the initial scream is nothing short of overpowering.
The grand finale is the epic Baba O'Riley. Once again the full crowd joins Pete Townshend as he lilts "Don't cry, don't raise your eye, it's only teenage wasteland". The final climactic crashing wave of guitars and drums signs off the band as the stage goes dark. The end.

Falloutboy - get the show open playing my favourite songs of course.

Paramore - Little bit heavier, mainly so I can fall in love with Hayley and fuck her after the show

Slipknot - The start of the heavy shit, gets everyone pumped with an incredibly heavy set.

Machine Head - Absolutely awesome band follows on from slipknot keeping it heavy.

Metallica - For obvious reasons haha.

The (International) Noise Conspiracy - for some nice jumpy up and downy warm up music.

Everlast - calming down a bit now but still good listenin'.

Devo - more jumping up and down now.

Stiff Little Fingers - punk action now as fingers play every (pre 2001) studio album flawlessly .

Bad Religion - plays as long as it takes for them to play every song from every studio album (all bar new maps of hell which I just can't get into).
