Well with me being a cheap ass, and driving a cheap ass car (95 Grand Prix) the consequences are that the car has NO form of media player at all, no c.d. player, not even a casette player, just a damn AMFM radio!
I'm going on a sort of road trip soon that would require me to drive for at least 6 hours, is there anyway or sort of device that mabe hooks into the cig plug that would allow media to play through my car speakers?

they make radio transmitters that hook into the cigarette plug and hooks into your ipod/any mp3 player and you set your radio on a station it offers and it'll play your music through that station. if not, buy a cd player and exchange it for your shitty radio. some places put them in for you real cheap.

Yeah, listen to Adem. A friend of mine had one and what it does is that it overrides a chosen radio frequency through which you can listen to your ipod music. The only downside with it is that it's not foolproof, say if the radio transmission is too strong it will override your ipod instead.. But I guess they work like a charm for the most part, and there are probably huge differences between different brands. With some models the signal is strong enough to override the radio in public transportation and so on.

don't get the belkin one that's just a remote and line, there's a transmitter that connects right into the plug and holds your ipod while it transmits, doesn't cause static or anything, unlike the one I had which made me hold it in place.
