Camera Lights

I'm filming in a night club on the 28th and need to buy a light for my camera, obviously I dont wanna blind people but I also don't wanna not be able to see them when they're talking to me.

I don't have much money to play with as of recent but I can probably do about £30-£40 or around that price but as cheap as possible would be cool.

Does anyone recommend any that are suitable for my price range and night club kinda darkness, I was looking at one of these LED ones on ebay, are they any good??

Also I have a mic attatched to the hotshoe so I don't really wanna be taking that off so is there like a "hotshoe splitter" if you will that would extend into another one so I can have the light off to the side and the mic still on the top?
A bit like it is in the photo above but not using the screw hole at the bottom and using the hotshoe part at the top.

I too believe that the length of stay must exceed 2 seconds.

If you are there for more than 2 seconds it should be ok.

Those LED lights aren't too bad. They only work good if you're real close though...

But judging by what you want to light, I'd suggest the LED lights.
