Just started MMA classes given down at a gym close to me. It's fucking crazy, it was their 4th time running the training and my body is dead.
That shit will get you in shape!
Anyone else taken an interest in MMA...?

I like it. would be fun to try.

they have one of those places 20 mins away from me. if it was closer I'm sure I'd take a class.
mma was gay as fuck to me at first now it's the best sports shit on tv.

I fucking love it, MMA is the way to go nowadays.
It's good for fighting but it'll keep you in shape, don't even have to fight!

iv been thinking of doing kickboxing again lately, but also want to get my throws and defence moves in, my friend said MMA might work out that way if I have a certain style, so iv been thinking I might take both kickboxing and something else before they die out or get boring I could jump to MMA training.

did um for a bit to try it out, was pretty cool.

I'd definitely want to do the training if I wasn't already so occupied with rugby, wouldn't mind learning how to fight properly too!

What's MMA? Sounds awfully gimmicky like spinning or pilates

My mate statred doing it a month or two back. He loves it, it's made him right aggressive.
03 May 2009, 21:17 UTC#15
Some people think they're the shit when they learn it and try to make other people notcie by being all agressive when the real purpose is self-discipline. We don't have anyone over here with that kind of attitude.
Even the most experienced onces are humbled alot by some of the new people who can mount them pretty fast...

Thing is though training increases testosterone levels a lot especially in untrained people, combine that in a competitive physical environment and the kids doing it are obviously gonna get pretty adgy. It was the same for a lot of us doing a really intense pre season over the summer.
