Anyone Enjoy Doing Stunts?

I want to get some stunt competition going on.

I dunno haha but I was seriously thinking this was gonna be a question asking if people even care about stunts anymore... imo I've come to a point in my life where I think there's more important things than jumping off shit for the hell of a piece of footy.

I dont enjoy doing shit like that anymore nor is there a big for market for it. plus I need my hands and head for the things I've planned in the future so why risk shit like that.

Meh, I use to get a buzz off shit. It was more about peoples face's when I did stuff. Adrenaline and so on.

We stopped when it became shit. People in my group became chavs and different things were funny to them. For instance when they asked me to film something and I had no idea what it was, then they put a brick through a window and you heard a baby scream. Next day there was a sign in the window saying there was a baby underneath the window in a crib.

Things aren't the same as you get older, when you're a teenager it's nothing to hurl yourself off a building and get some cuts and sprains or whatever. Not to mention you can get away with way more shit in public when you're a kid. Nowadays if Mike did the prank where he threw the milkshake over a guy, he'd get the shit kicked out of him.

Comes a time where you have to grow up, by no means am I really mature, but doing "jacakss stunts" is something that is fine to do when you are 15, but when you get to a certain age it's gotta stop. Still, I dont mind watching stunts from time to time, but I've seen it all, so it's hard to find much funny these days.

When you get older you get wiser and you just cant bring yourself to do stuff that's harmful to you or someone else. not even for golden footage.

But Ben and I always talk about filming something but we dont really have the time :/ it seems.

no offence but almost everyone in here who posted wasnt really viewed at as a stuntman in there team, apart from jones, vode & fms nothing stands out from them doing something, they was part of a crew but they just stood in the background and watched. rarely would ever do something or be present at filmings, but yes 5 years later I wouldnt expect anything less than them putting stunts down. thats there opinion and they can stick to it.

I myself did alittle something from my tricklist recently, its been 8 years since I last did this one and I tore my tendons in my ankle doing it, so I advoided it untill last month when someone I used to know brought it up and said it was a stupid idea...so I did it the next chance I got. what I did a running front flip to feet over 2 bmxers doing headstands with there feet open. they was doing shit for photos by a mate so I tested myself, it looks good, it made me feel great, a feeling I though I wouldnt miss, but its something else, something that cant be replaced.

yes a stuntman is a man who does stunts, correct but deserving the lable of a stuntman is more well rounded than being hit with objects and pushed down hills, if anyone can call themself its the people I mentiond above, they did jumps and stuntman activitives on a weekly basist for whatever reason, the feeling of flying through the air and using techines not to get injuried and watching it back on video, thats what id call a stuntman not doing about 10 stunts in there whole life then wanting to be known as a stuntman.

in witch case dan avvy is a stuntman....

I was just saying theres a big difference between an active stuntman who doesnt need other people to be involved to preform a stunts then theres the the people who just use there body as being a stunt prop.

totally different feelings and accoplisments.

none of the hg stuntmen from the past had commented on enjoying doing stunts or that not being the case anymore. just the people who wasnt really involved talking down about it since there crew broke up years ago. which is the only reason they dont do it anymore, they had no reason, never really had it to start with, so I pointed that out I wasnt being patronising. just facts, maybe I shouldnt of posted but I did say dont be offended. but with or without my opnion, I would like to hear opinions from people who was involved in a stunt lifestyle but isnt anymore like yates, trizz, creed and even lozerkid ect ect.
