Hey guys,
today I started working on my new homemade jib.
Im using this idea but using different materials and making a couple mods to it.
LinkI w3as just curious to see other peoples inventions or other things they have made.
I know Wkh or whk or w.e. made a camera crane but I couldnt find the DIY instructions for their model.
Ill post a pic when im done.

WKH did this once, I'd like to see how this turns out. I need to make one this summer, yates if you come down we should deff make up some jibs and film an action/spy movie.

I haven't looked into jibs myself, but I was going to build a simple PVC track camera dolly at one point. Never got around to it though...

we should all get together at my place this summer and fuck around with building stuff.
we can each choose a bit we want personally and all work on that bit till we build one for each group.
like we can do a track dolly, a couple jibs, would be a great party.

that would be sick dude! Keep me posted on that if it happens. Ill be workin a shit load this summer to get a downpayment or a house but I would definitly try n make it.

I have a jib.
Actually its just my dick, I strap my camera on, and woo next thing you know, 40 ft long with pan and tilt controls.
No but in seriousness I have a smallish jib. But I didnt make it unfortunately so cant help you there, but your pics are looking sweet.

the reach is only 6 feet, haha that picture looks like its resting on the wall, it isnt.

The camera will be six feet from the camera if its straight.
