I dunno if this news went big outside the netherlands really but this kid from down here made this as "test" just for fun with sounds from HL2 and with a story he wrote himself.

really sick effects if u ask me. he worked on them for ages which you can imagine.

some guys from hollywood already rang him up to ask him how he did them and what his plans are etc.. he's just a kid like u and me so that's really.

thats fucing awesome, but dont understand how people in hollywood been finding his phone number and asking about tutorials for after effects lol.

nah it's not done in after effects haha, I think he actually used 3DS for most of the shit. At least he told that some of the smoke effects took like 2 days to render just to find out they looked like shit so he had to let it go for another 2 days.

Speakers are fucked. Is the audio good? I can kinda hear it. Videos intense as shit though.

very cool.. I can see how hes done a few things like the visual computer stuff u see when he picks up a phone etc.. but some of it must of taken fucking ages to mix with real time footage, like the ships flying past.

Also, I dont think its one guy doing it all.. as if you look at there other videos it seems to be a group of them working together.. but I dont no what the news report said so kuffi? any info on that?

of course they filmed it with a few guys (actors and such) but the editing was seriously done by one kid :)

Half of that audio was stolen from Lost. lol.

Was amazing though, this guy has a bright future.
