The WPC guys contacted us and a few others a month back, two weeks ago we rushed to film 17 stunts in 2 days, and this is the labor of our love!

agree with webby great idea, but think you should pick some better stunts to copy a few werent even stunts as such, just bad copys of parts of films. hope gets picked up tho

To be fare. Its only a pilot. They dont want to kill themselves untill they are being commissioned to do so!

This definitely looks like it has loads of potential. If you guys go all out for the stunts and try to make them as realistic as possible. Gaboff's ladder stunt was the standout for me by far. That's pretty badass that he got it to work.

Some of the stuff looked like it could take some polishing before it's airable. Fucking congrats though, the pilot looks solid as hell. Definitely something I would watch.

Tell me, are the Gaboff's really as douchey as they seem? You can be honest.

Yeah, if it gets picked up, we get paid to film it. Im also credited as a producer, im unsure at this time if that means any extra money.

Im glad most of you are enjoying it, we didnt do anything too huge because we had planned to get through 25 different stunts in the two days we had for filming the stunt stuff, so time and money were not on our side.

Also, since this is just a pilot, the clips might not even be used in the actual show, no sense in destroying ourselves for scenes that might not make it into the show.

You mean the door kick from transporter 1?
That's One of the stunts we planned on but didn't get to, so the clip was just used as an example of what we can do if the show gets picked up.

Their on camera persona's can totally be seen as douchey to some, but in person they are actually great guys who have alot of passion for what they do. The bros fight alot, but its a constant struggle between wanting to be very creative and get every shot perfect (mike) and making sure stay on schedule and get to all the other stunts we have to do (ryan)

The only person I was a little iffy on was the cameraman Doc, that guy was a friggin loon sometimes!

The last day I was loading the props and costumes from the van we used for the hot rod scene and moving them back into my truck, doc was riding with me and snagged a pair of nut huggers and a black wig from the costume box and as soon as we got back to the suite we were staying at for the shoot he through off his shirt and started humping the gate to the garage area.

Why wasn't this included in the "Making Of" doc?

Oh right, he's the cameraman.

God, that clip of Leroy on Jay Leno is classic. I remember that I was watching Jay the night that aired and it was the only time I've actually cracked up at that show.

That is a show I would definitely watch and probably buy the dvd. Looks very entertaining and the idea is really original for a tv-show. I always wanted to recreate some movie stunts on film too for Rip/Off but gave up on the ideas because we didn't really have the necessary clothes and equipment and it would be impossible to recreate LA scenes up here, so it would just end up looking stupid. Anyway, I hope this show gets picked up, and to be honest I'm pretty sure it will as long as you find the right person to lob it to. Let's hope this is the show that will be your break through.

And PROPS to Ryan Simonetti for wearing ASG and Valient Thorr patches on his jacket haha

yeah I dont think we would use anything we shot that weekend for the show if it gets pick up, we were just trying to get enough to pitch the concept. We specifically picked movies that would be easy to recreate with no budget for that weekend. So I am excited for the endless possibilities if it gets picked up.

Lol me and another crew member wrote a different version of the transporter stunt with the 2 cars over a year ago.
