Considering Selling My Vx2100

I really doubt anyone on here will be interested, but I plan on selling my Sony VX2100 soon. I'm not done with filming by any means, I'm just looking to upgrade to something else.

I bought it used off Ebay almost two years ago and haven't had any problems with it. It works perfectly, but it does have a few minor scratches and scuffs on the camera body. Nothing major though.

I plan on listing it on Ebay soon.

I'm not completely sure yet Imre. I wish I could keep it and still get a new camera, but I just don't have the money to do that. I'm looking at a DVX100b even though it's not HD. Just really seems like it'd fit my current needs though.

I'm not completely sure about the price. VX's are roughly $1,500 on Ebay, so somewhere around there. Just depends on if I sell the Raynox and light with it too.

BLL was never going to produce a DVD. after 1 short mixup that was it. GD Luck selling it for lots of moneyes.

I'm putting a DVD out in the end no matter what, (yeah yeah, "EVERYONE SAYS THAT LOLZ IT WON'T HAPPEN"), but it won't be a "proper" stunt DVD. We haven't set out to film stunts in ages, but I am still getting good footage here and there. It's just more along the lines of comedy/drunken antics etc.

Shit they said they would give me all there footage for the ultimate DVD ever.

Brown also promised me, this uh one time, that he'd give me the camera if he ever tried to sell it, cause yeah this one time...

Too bad, cant be bothered with ntsc cams in Europe.

Yes, there are multiple VX2100's on Ebay right now going for $1500 and more. If it doesn't sell at that price I'll lower it. I just want to get the most out of it I can obviously.

all I keep reading is 'we havnt filmed in ages' you made 1 mixup and got over. it was good. but I just dont see BLL releasing a DVD. fair enough if its one for you and your friends you could film that in a couple of weekends or so.

Webby don't you use an NTSC camera? How easy is it to convert to PAL? I'm sure you can in Premiere real easy. Even when capturing.

and this is sadly true. your 2 grand camera has spent more time in the repair shop then recording something to tape. my advice you ask? well wait till its sent back from repair and then sell it on ebay for lots of moneyes then upgrade by buying a Sony HD or two....



yeah iv used a SD sony camera that was NTSC and I now use a HD sony cam thats NTSC both was very easy to convert via editing programs on the PC. no hassle

if I did that I'd have to go witha sony HD FX, I need a big camera to compensate for my small cock

I´d like a big co... camera for the same reason. Sometimes I dont know if Im carrying my hv20 in my pants or... yeah but I´d love a big cam, just to show off.

People take more seriously your filming hobby, if you have big camera. Thats why I like to keep my big lens attached all times.

we have filmed, but we havent gotten together just for the sole purpose of filming stunts. we have a lot of good footage that arent stunts. now if we were to compile all that non-stunt footage, then a couple of weekends of stunt filming, then I think we would be ready to release a DVD.

well here is something that will make you shit bricks. BLL filmed last saturday. was it totally insane stunt footage? no. but it could be used as filler



what kind of lens do you have for your hv-20? 43mm right?

Well hell, we should actually try stunts again since we now have three quality cameras to work with and Wesley is about to get his own place. Just going to be hard to get back into after such a break from stunts.

I have four lenses and I can use all of them with my hv20. None of them are 43mm though. I dont think that they make that much lenses that have 43 thread. straight away. Luckily Iv´e got lots of step rings for them.

Hahah, I bought all of my lenses from finnish "ebay" and got lots of step up rings with them. I can attach my 52mm thread lens to my old sony handycam that has 25thread. It looks preeetty funnieeh.
