It's not like HGF is a milestone in our lives lol. I imagine whoever pays for HGF will stop paying and after months we'll all rally together and try to renew it with our own money but by that time too much time will have passed and it will never be the same.
Thats far more likely to happen.

Nah I reckon it'll get to a point where people will get old enough to have 9-5's, live with girlfriends and not have time for internets let alone hgf and would post about a tenth of what they used to and it'll slowly diminish.

Maybe not for you, I wouldn't call it a "milestone" but HGF has networked so many people. I'd say this place affected my life in a significant way when I was 14-16. So many people have been introduced via these forums. Liam wouldn't be living with Matt, I wouldn't have been told I have an illegitimate child countless times, etc.
13 February 2009, 13:41 UTC#68
I wouldnt know lots of people without hgf, wouldnt know Ben, Jones, JV.... lots of people, and I mean lots. Around twenty people or so.
13 February 2009, 13:42 UTC#69
Nah but like saying "Your future after HGF" I read as it sort of "IS THERE EVEN A FUTURE AFTER HGF?"
Mike, you have a child btw.

edit: and thats just from Finland. I appreciate my connections to other countries even though I dont meet them physically (that often anyways)
real edit: that wasnt edit apparently.
13 February 2009, 13:43 UTC#71
Come to the UK.
13 February 2009, 13:45 UTC#72
Im skint. Maybe someday. End of summer, fall, dunno.
Come to Finland, on summer. Lets rent a cabin do some drinking and filming, then some touring in finnish nightlife, maybe the cruise, dunno.
13 February 2009, 13:46 UTC#73
That still is a good idea.

True, I've met some cool people. There's nothing like traveling to a whole other region of the country and having people open their homes to you.
I'd like to hope that I have some similar connections overseas if I ever get lucky enough to travel over (cough FINNISH TOM CRUISE.)
13 February 2009, 16:19 UTC#76
Ha, come meet us in Cali with señor Cantu. Or even better Vegas! Cause we're staying there for 3-4 days too
13 February 2009, 16:20 UTC#77
If only I had the money....

13 February 2009, 16:23 UTC#78
Vegas can't be that expensive from Arkansas can it?
edit: aye or are you concerned about the accomodation?
13 February 2009, 16:36 UTC#79
I'm not sure how much it would be, I can look it up though.
My bank account is constantly dwindling down and I'm still unemployed so...
13 February 2009, 17:03 UTC#80

Teaching won't be that bad. It'll be easy for me. I just know it will. Going through the certification will be the hardest part. As soon as I'm in the classroom I'll be good to go. It's the only realistic thing I could see me doing.
EDIT: "Realistic" being the key word.
14 February 2009, 23:16 UTC#90
I'm telling you, Alex, I've done it, and it's not that simple.
