Basically I need to see how many of you started out filming for HG, and eventually developed your passion for media over time and went on to do a degree in media. Or if you didn't go to uni and make amateur films with your time, that counts as a yes too haha.

Cheers if you can help.

Counts too if you learn most of the stuff you do on your course from HG, I.e. editing and photoshop etc.

This.

I was never in a group in the first place. I just showed up one day and started acting like I knew anything about what was going on around here.

My real name's Jeff.

I started filming well before hgf and have continued to film. only a small part of my filming life, so to speak, has been to do with stunts/hgf. so No.

I was filming myself naked and then embarrassingly I got caught by a few friends who walked in on me so I had to come up with a believable story pronto, and that's how Rip/Off's stunt filming was born and that's how I agreed to take 2nd degree burns on my balls in the form of boiling water. Nobody's questioned that night for the last six years though so I think they bought it.

And to answer the question, I hope it one day will, but until that I will keep doing stray jobs to finance my private film sessions.

I have voted yes, because although I was filming before HGF, HGF undoubtedly spurred me on to film more, and I did learn from others on here, although obviously my career has taken shape from focusing on the production side of things, which I did initially learn from dong stunts.

Same.

I want to pursue a career in TV production or film because nothing else interests me enough to consider doing it for the rest of my life.

I think the point is the HG itself and not hgf.

Voted yes. Pretty much learned everything I know about filming and editing by doing Sst pro stuff. These days I do some "more serious" clips hesides Sst and sometimes some freelance stuff. Havent really decided my "career" though. I`ll do that when I grow up.
