Just like there have been attempts or plots to assassinate almost every US president since its establishment? Some of which were successful. People my age in my area always have their conversations about Obama end in the same way - that Obama's gonna get killed by some racist extremist dude. And I know that they just say that because inside them there's some sort of resentment towards people of different races. But even if it's just subtle or unspoken, it's just as dangerous as the people who are open and vocal about it. Because those are the same people who allow hate to happen and just assume that it's an inevitability, so they don't fight it. They just brush it off and say, "Someone's going to kill Obama." Nah, if you're truly unprejudiced, then you don't see the big difference amongst the races and don't see how other people could want to be hateful towards others.
