I've had my Mac Book for almost a week now, yet haven't downloaded any new applications for it.
I know there are a few Mac owners on here and was wanting some recommendations for applications to download. I don't really want to go through them and download to just try them out.
Yes, I already formatted and it is over two seconds long.

Garage Band came on it. It's fun to mess around with here and there.
Final Cut is definitely something I want to check out. I just need to find a place to "obtain" it from.
Edit: I'm getting Photoshop and After Effects soonish.

Used to hate mac fags and still do.
Got forced to use one at a new job 2 years ago- was painful for a week- but after that never looked back. The amount of time spent scanning for spyware, viruses, optimizing etc you spend on a PC just to keep it clean is bullshit.
Dont even have any spyware or antivirus software on my mac- works just as good as the day I bought it.

It's really not that hard. My Mac came with an application called Boot Camp that walks you through the process, you just have to have disks for XP or Vista.
After installing you can just hold the command key when turning on the Mac and a screen will come up letting you choose which OS to run.

Or you can run either parallels or VMware Fusion. Both programs allow you to run windows without a reboot.

im almost sure I can get you one. not sure about a serial, but I can get you a disk.

I installed mac on my pc. It was dual booted from Leopard and Vista. I used Leopard for so long I never went back onto Vista and I knew the next PC I bought would be a mac which is now why I have a macbook.
Not saying Windows is bad because it's not, just saying Mac is better.

Thanks Nick, but my new room mate has a ton of computer software he said I could use. He has Vista, XP, Linux, and a ton of other stuff.
