I can't believe its actually true. But I think they did good, this stuff will go viral FAST.

Yeah.
I mean, I'm all for the software if it's aimed at getting people to think musically and creatively.
But, that commercial just really made it look so so so gay.
And, the music the program was coming up with was so generic and uninspired, almost as though it was generated by a computer...
The problem with this sort of software like Garage Band and the like, is that it pretty much completely takes the human element out of creating art. So, what you're left with is a synthesized and processed mass of junk a system churned out based on a set of principles and logic.
Just sort of lame altogether. I'm not trying to be some douchey Microsoft basher since Mac has the same software.

Fuck that. I could only watch one minute of it.

That is the lamest thing pretty much ever. All the songs fucking sounded the same, and if the comments are to believe they even used a MacBook Pro for the ad.. I'm calling hoax until I see that video on microsoft's website.

Edit:
Ben, I'm almost positive the guy in the video is one of the guys from Microsoft, Dan Morris. He's one of the main guys on this thing. So this is quite legit.
