Ethernet Controller

So I went on my snowboarding trip and when I returned my Ethernet Controller driver is fucked up and I am not able to get online.

Ideas?

Did someone fuck with your computer?

Nah man I live with my family right now. No one would have even been in here. I just put a new OS on my computer called Wesmosis XP but it was working fine before I left. My step mom said I have to find the Ethernet Controller driver for my motherboard, but I can't find it through MSI's site. I don't know if I'm just fucking ignorant on locating these types of things or what, but I can't fucking figure it out.

Gay as fuck. I just installed this thing, haven't had it for more than a week. Doing a repair right now, never tried it before. If that doesn't work then I'm scrapping this OS and going back to XP. This thing runs like glass though. The ethernet is the only problem. Comes loaded with mass programs to help your computer out. Tells you detailed info on your CPU temp/fan speeds on your desktop and shit. All stock. Baller. Just need the fucking ethernet to work so I can run a driver update on my motherboard and shitz. Then I'm going to install all my programs. Crate a fucking Image, and burn that nigger to a dvd so its saved.

What's the model of your computer or Motherboard?

This should be just as easy as un-installing and re-installing the Ethernet driver....

If you don't end up finding the driver to reinstall it, try doing a driver roll back. Get into the device manager and right click the Ethernet controller-> Click Properties -> Driver Tab -> Roll Back Driver Button. I'm running XP and not sure if its the same way in Vista so if you want to try this google it real fast I guess.

If that don't work try doing a system restore back to before you left for your trip.

I found an old wireless card and installed that. So my computer is online but running wireless and I don't like that. I need to update my drivers. I downloaded Driver Detective, suppose to help me find missing/corrupt drivers. Having some issues trying to crack it however.

Anyone able to get a crack or know of a better driver program?
