All things considered, PC really is the best.

and I dont care if people say "well you can upgrade a pc".... yes thats the point.... if you a happy gamer who likes somthing you just plug in and play then go for a console... but if you want a game to look ace, then buy a pc.

Different brightness settings...? And its still not that much of difference, and graphics dont really matter when the game is good. Lately I´ve been rocking my n64 and Gamecube, graphics aint anything by current standards, but the games are still awesome.

Also computers that runs games with that kind of graphics is expensive. And computers crash.

But for fps games, keypad + mouse combination is the only way to go.

Who says true gamers play with pc? And who would say its because of the graphics? True gamer doesnt even look at the graphics, but the game as whole. And many people I´d consider "true gamers" like retro games with poor graphics.

I cant believe how nerd I manage to sound, I dont even play that much, hahah.

It's funny how Mac users come off as condescending when defending Macs to PC-users. And then PC-Gamers are just as irritatingly snobbish about PC gaming when talking to users of other consoles.

The graphics are far superior!

I'm with R2. Eat my ass with that graphics bullshit. Final Fantasy VII looks like shit today visually, and FarCry2 on PC can have the most pristine, flawless trees you'll ever see from in front of your monitor. But when it comes down to it, FF7 (or any other great game) is better because everything comes together perfectly. Does it look like I could physically live in the virtual world they create? No. Is it more fun than looking at perfectly rendered trees? Yes.

All I can say is this - fuck you. Play your PC, and I'll play my 360. Stop trying to convert the masses with your inane babbling. Only people insecure with what they have try so desperately to convince others that it's so far superior.

I don't understand how my understanding that PC gaming, in terms of graphics being better is insufferable, as you've seemingly come to the same realisation. I was commenting on what I saw on that link which was a comparrison of graphics, nothing more.

You don't have to get all defensive and belligerent over something so trivial.

Depends what you are after, I mean to be honest with you a PC and the PS3 and Xbox 360 are exactly the same thing, the dual SLI GPU's in both consoles far surpass most high end computers, and the dual core CPU's are not too bad either. Both consoles basically just run really simple operating systems, which will speed up the rate of game graphic generation unlike the PC which tends to be loaded with a bulky OS, add to the fact you can load Windows on the PS3 and the 360 and you can see even more than ever how they are the same thing.

The reason the graphics generated by the PS3 is typically not as good is due to the graphics engine which I am not a fan of, the 360 is superior in this regard.

So even taking into account the very slight difference in aliasing and graphics on the consoles, of which until you mentioned the water reflection and the trees, I actually thought the PS2 had sharper graphics although slightly diminished detail, I'd rather play on a sofa in front of a TV screen than sit in my office playing games.

But then what does my opinion count for? I don't game much.

Graphically Pc will always win, but thtas what you get when you spend £300 every 6 months to keep it up to date.

Fun wise, 360 all the way. I used to be a PC gamer, but I find being able to just pick up and play my 360 better, or just having some friends round and all playing some Fifa or some racing game together (something which you can't do with a pc) much more enjoyable.

Like Ray said, just stick with your own preference and play lol.

all I can say is that on the 360, the graphics are nowhere near that pixelly. someone fucked with that picture. I'm even certain it's not THAT shitty even for a PS3. in the end it's what the gamer likes playing. if it's PC, then play your pc, if it's ps3, play your ps3. just stfu up about how it makes you the "ULTIMATE GAMERZ!!" because it doesn't fucking matter.
