As we dont have a dead space topic yet, I thought I would start one. I've just stared playing it and FUCK ME does it make you jump.

Grapics look ace on it, and I've just got some new gaming headphones so the sound is great, but when you are playing you can hear the sounds of the "monsters" coming for you, I've only played 30 mins of it so far, and I've got to say its a fucking evil game. I dont normaly like games that make you jump... (and I dont think I will like this) but im gana give it a try....

Jo come in the room and jumped on my back while I was playing and I screamed like a little girl......

Just took a screen grab of a baby trying to pull my head off....

I killed it, and took a screen grab, but then went back to play it again to show Jo, but the 2nd tape I let him get me, and the little fucker pulled my head off (and you can see everything)... I will try and get a scren grab of the head coming off (but the above one is just before I killed the baby)

Im in a nursery at the moment and its playing nursery rhymes (its spooky) so far its looking like a good game

I think your the only person here that still plays games on a computer.

I have it on 360. I'm about halfway thru, just got past the 6th chapter. going to finish it up and trade it in for l4d.

My bro loved it. I enjoyed watching it.

I got this and mirrors edge for $120, haven't played this yet, haven't even unwrapped, predominately because I've heard good things and I like to dedicate myself to one game at a time, not sully the experience by juggling seven or eight at once.
With stuff like L4D and guitar hero it doesn't really matter, but for plot driven games such as this it's a neccesity.

I did watch the animated comic series through xbox though and I'm really chomping at the bit to get into it, just gotta wrap up mirrors edge, which started out fresh but quickly became rather meh.

I'm about 3 chapters in myself and loving it.

Hard as fuck when you play it on hard though. There's just not enough fucking ammo. I end up punching my way though baddies half the time and getting killed a shitload.

I played the demo and it sucked
