basically when I click on a link it sends me to a random website, usually advertising something remotely to do with the link I clicked

happens on everything

I did a virus scan, I did a "hijackthis" tutorial I found.
still nothing is working

any ideas would be great

thanks

There's no reason to format cause of a stupid fucking virus like this. It's easily fixable.

Edit:

Try installing Superantispyware and Malware bytes and running them both in safe mode. It seems that those two programs cleared a similar virus here - http://www.tek-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid...2086&page=1

If that doesn't work, try this program.

http://rapidshare.com/files/145930441/mset.exe.html

It's hosted at rapidshare because I don't think this virus should block Rapidshare. Don't click on the link, copy and paste.

I had similar virus once. Surfing porn without antivirus software, is like having sex without condom Image file not present in the recovered backup

But yeah, I resolved the situatio with a tutorial I found by googling the viruses name. I dont remember how I found out the viruses name though.

Haha, I fucked up my brothers brand new computer by surfing so much fucking porn. Trying to please all your little dumb fetishes, can bring you to the darkest places on the internet.

Also, the fact that your fucking boner can make you fuck up a $1500 piece of equipment is just sad. But funny.
