Hi guys, does anyone know why my 1gb USB memory stick won't delete its contents? I need to delete a movie I have on it and it seems to do it just fine when I shift+delete it, but whenever I open the folder again the file is back there again. The file's properties says it's 0 bytes in size but the USB stick properties says there's 699mb / 1gb in use. So what the fuck. I've rebooted my computer so this is not just a temporary malfunction.

Fill it and then see if it overwrites the file on there.

Nah it say there's not enough space if I try to put anything over 300 megs in there :/

My C: drive where I have my Windows installed is almost full though, could that be causing the problem?

Maybe when you try and delete it there is no room to store the file in the recycle bin? Would alert you though. Hmmm.

Can you even create a new partition USB sticks? :S

That could've done the trick but I already did it on my bro's Mac and it solved the problem :)

But thanks anyway luvs
