SO I finally got my hands on this, and bought a HD tv just to experience it as intended, and I must say that I'm fucking floored. The game is so kick ass crazy it's insane, conceptuallly it's brilliant and in execution it's even better.
Anyone else played it yet? I wasn't a fan of Oblivion at all, bought it and played it twice and it's sat on my shelf ever since, but I'm loving this, it lives up to expectations unlike the hype machine that was GTA4. The interface is similar to Oblivion, But thematically THis is more interesting to me, I've always loved post apocalyptic shit.

Ok I think I will have to ask this for christmas seeing as everyone is so hyped about it. I wasn't gonna buy this at first because it was seemed so unlike Fallout 2 which I was a huuuuuge fan of and it wasn't even made by Black Isle, but I think I will still despreately need to get my hands this.

Yeah, I got my hands on Fallout 1& 2 prior to getting this and just immersed myself in the world, became a porn star, sold my wife to slave traders, etc. And I was really worried that they wouldn't be able to retain that dirty tongue in cheek style due to the high profile of this installment, But I think that bethesada did a pretty good job capturing the overall feel of a 3D Fallout, There are slight differences, like the targetting system and method of combat, but It's honestly one of the best things I have ever laid my grubby little paws on

Got it last week.
Gotta say at first I was slightly disappointed, it's really one of those games that you have to work at for about an hour and a half before things start to get fun. But now it's fucking amazing.

Best game I ever played. Spent the best part of 24 hours on it already. Keep sitting down to just play it for an hour and end up getting so fucking immersed in it.

Just received it, took Play.com 3 weeks to deliver.. Anyway it's a good game and all with a huge world to explore and it's challenging and all that but it lacks that lighter side of Fallout 1&2 which I thought made them so special.

So now that I got that out of me, where is the third leaking pipe?

The only two I can remember is the one by the main entrance of the town; and there's one high up - if you go to Crazy Moira's store and look around outside you should see it.

Those are the two I've found. I spent ages yesterday trying to find the third, even ran outside the walls and fought all these womp rats with a baseball bat just so I could find it. And I don't wanna go searching for any online walkthroughs because then I'll just do that for the rest of the game :S (not that this is much different haha)

Aight, then try looking under all the houses, in all the poles and pipes and shit. Helps to turn the sound up 'cause you can hear the water rushing, that's how I found the high-up one.

Think I'm going to start playing this again since having a conversation or any human interaction with my roommate is impossible.
