Im buying a new camera (Sony DCR-SR35E), and I was wondering if anyone could recomend a reasonably priced fish eye/wide angle lens?

That cam is Standard Def. so no special lens is needed. I always use Ebay for new lenses.
This one should be good for that cam. If you don't like this one and want to look elsewhere just keep in mind you need to buy a 30mm lens for that cam.

reasonably priced with high quality schneider glass, just bought 2 of them. waiting on arrival.

The lens thread doesnt need to be 30, there is adapter rings available. Both of the links posted are for wide angle lenses, didnt look for comparison images, but I doubt there will be any barrel effect or vignetion. If you want them, look for lower X, usually 0.3X has pretty much fisheye feel to them. real fisheye lens has view angle of 180, would be awesome, but you aint getting that.
