Its american cam? So its NTSC? So no european should buy it. Because european system is PAL. Doesnt match with NTSC.

I thought one would get rid off stupid country differences after HDV revolution, but no.

so? whats the problem you can just convert it once captured if you need too...

iv owned 2 NTSC cameras, currently using one now. im fine.

Really? All the other forums have had long discussions about how much problems ntsc cams have in PAL enviroment. Anyways, converting takes lots of time? Yes? How does teh footage look? One could think that downgrading from 30 to 25 frames, would make big difference.

my eyes cant see any difference. looks totally the same to me. and it takes the same amount of time as if you had edited a video the same lenth and render it off. like 15mins for 5mins depending on your pc specs. I can now convert NTSC HDV footage to PAL AVI in mear moments :-)
