Seemed a bit long for a trailer. Wasn't a fan of the editing, but some of the stunts were alright.
Edit: FUCK LUCERO
19 September 2008, 22:16 UTC#5
YEAH FUCK LUCERO WHAT THE FUCK WAS I TALKNIG ABOUT.
19 September 2008, 23:08 UTC#6
How did you get Dave Grohl @ 2:33?
20 September 2008, 00:59 UTC#7
Is there a reason why it just cuts real quick at the end? Other than that I liked it. Car into the fence was beastly.
20 September 2008, 01:37 UTC#8
Shout outs from people I don't know=useless.
Skating was mediocre.
Light tubes on back with rope tied to running man was really good, although I wouldn't have showed it again in slow-motion.
I didn't really dig the music and the titles didn't look to good, but hey, I can't do much better.
Fat people who can't fight, can't fight.
It was good to see some rollerblading. I enjoyed.
Just cuts off at the end?
End.

Circa: thanks man, I'm Glad you liked it man.. but that wasnt our best stuff either just wanted to get people excited about our dvd.
Drew: I like lucero, but I can understand where you're comming from tho haha, alot of people dont like them.. thanks for the positive feedback man.
Ray: Well.. you dont wanna know... o man.. he is very hairy, thats all you need to know.
EBalex: I have no idea really just how I felt it went w/ the video(the quick cuts that is).. glad you enjoyed.... btw when is the mixup commming out.
Yates: Well, alot of people from around here love lucero.. and black stone cherry is pretty well known, thought some people would know who they were, we have alot better skating.. were going to film some tommrow actually, and sorry we dont have buff cute guys like you fighting... and the rollerblader is actually a professional rollerblader and shit ha, met him at the skatepark in conway, nice guy... but very girly.

I mean some fat people can fight, but just watching them throw haymakers over and over is gay. Unless someone gets like knocked out cold or something.

I don't want to give it an exact date yet in the event we don't meet it, but right now it does look promising that it'll be out by Halloween along with our website which is also under construction at the moment.

Looks like you have some really inventive stuff. Just make sure you keep titles very basic, I know sometimes people wanna convey a 'style' in their edit, but let the video work that and keep the titles basic. Also I know people will put shout-outs at the start as a means of gaining some sort of credibility from others who may not know you but may know them like "OHHHHH SHIT NIGGA THESE GUYS KNOW THEM DAAAYUUUUMM THATS TIGHT NIGGA NIGGA NIGGA NIGGA" but as I say let the video speak for itself.
Fast cuts, between shots of setting up the stunt and carrying it out.
Keep aftermath to a minimum but be sure to have one in there for shock factor.
And if you have trouble ending a video just either cut to a title at a climax point in whatever song you use, OR, use a shot (for example and explosion) and have the music end just as the *boom* happens which is abrupt but very effective if done right.
But yeah do things MY way and you're the next Jonny Knoxville.

Woah! I totally just now noticed that. That's impressive when the song sounds professional enough that I didn't notice it was made specifically for your group. How'd you swing that? Like, it sounded like the majority of the popular rap/screamo hybrids I'd heard before. Seriously, that was something I didn't anticipate at all.
