I just have a problem with people that come to the UK and then openly complain about the way things are over here... even though it's not many of them, still not on.

But I have no problem with mixed race societies.

ERMMM Does anyone british give a fuck about America????? Image file not present in the recovered backup

Lol @ dodging my point.

I foresee that nothing will change because drastic immigration reform only ends in civil unrest. I actually want to see you guys put quotas and restrictions on immigration, just to see your nation implode and really experience inconvenience and annoyance.

If you think the immigrants that are there now are annoying and cumbersome, just wait until they find out that your native people and government don't want them there. You think they're going to try extra hard to better conform and please you? You'll be lucky if your metro system exists in 2 years. Keeping immigrants out will only fuel the fire and piss off the already volatile immigrant population you have there now. And, if they're not all that threatening and imposing, then why change things in the first place?

Honestly ask yourself if them complaining about shit and just being around you is that much of a big deal. If it is, then by all means you should advocate limiting who can come over and from where. But, you know that it's not. It's just a lot of the people there being narrow-minded and xenophobic. Of course, a lot of the English people I have encountered on here are open bigots and racists, so if you're a representative population of England on the whole, maybe your country could use a wake up call in the form of serious immigrant unrest. Keep picking on them and fucking around with their families and cultures.

I just dont like them rallying together and inspiring hate against the country they came into illegally and then putting in place motions to change laws to suit the shitty lifestyle they came here to get away from. If people wanna come here and work without fuss and make a better life for themselves fine. But not to come here and target British people in hate crimes.

I just hate their shitty negativity when really if they want to be here they need to abide by the rules which have been in place for years.

tl;dr kick the unruly immigrants out if they're going to be shitty about the country which allowed them to come in and work.

People aren't truly threatened by Middle Eastern immigrants, they're just annoyed and bored.

Nah, they're just ignorant racists.

I think you're misinterpreting the Sharia courts, Tom. They're not meant to impose tenets of Sharia law onto the British people. They're intended for the Islamic communities within England. Muslims still have to adhere to British law, but if they want to include themselves in Muslim communities, they have to adhere to Sharia law as well.

It's like a fraternity or "secret club," with their own rules and their own laws that they have to live by in order to be a club member. Their laws don't negate British laws, it's just an extra rule set they have to follow.

I agree with you in that immigrants targeting native Englishmen is dangerous and intolerable. However, look at the vastly overwhelming majority of the immigrant population, and you will know that they are not the ones responsible for it.

A big problem that countries run into, is that they make legislature based on extreme cases, not common ones. For instance, in the US, there has been an increase in school shootings over the past 20 years or so. Following Columbine, there were a lot of laws and regulations passed to control the sale and use of guns. But, that did nothing to stop school violence. The regulation of gun sales is not going to change an attitude and the state of mind of the individual. If the US wants to do something about school violence, they need to make better efforts to confront the source of school violence itself, which isn't guns, it's people.

The same idea applies to your immigration "problems." A minute minority of immigrants are acting violently towards some native Brits. The solution is not to keep immigrants out, the solution is to address violence based on cultural differences itself. Both sides need to learn to co-habitate and embrace culture differences. You can't expect the Muslims to be open to your culture, if you're doing nothing to welcome them to it. Acting hateful towards them only makes shit worse. Change your own attitude before demanding that others change their entire lives.

The only aspect of the Sharia courts I have a problem with is the fact they have the right to settle domestic violence cases there as it's fine in their religion to 'act out' against their wives. Which isn't on.

My problem isn't so much immigrants as a whole, I dont have a problem with different races coming in as I say who want to make a better life for themselves. Thats only natural for people to do, to make things better for them and their families. I know the amount of people who cause trouble and target the english is minimal, thats really what I have an issue with and I didn't mean to come across as though I was hating ALL THEM NIGGAS or anything like that.

Its all good to say we should all learn to accept one another, which I'm sure many people are willing to do. But nothing is changing and things are seemingly worsening.

I don't hate immigrants or immigration, I welcome them. But I don't like people coming here and spreading more negativity within an already negative nation. I dont go out and commit hate crimes or racial assault, I tolerate it because I'm aware its a minority of people who are getting out of hand.

And I don't welcome Islam, but much the same I dont welcome any religion. I dont hate people for what they believe, I just hate what they believe.

I'm not asking them to change their lives, I'm asking them to tolerate our ways of life. (Again not all immigrants as I'm sure 99.9% are willing to, I'm referring to the minority of them.) In the same way if I went anywhere in the world, I would respect they have a different culture and act in accordance to it as it's the decent thing to do.

Haha, it looks like we're in agreement then.

What's the point of this thread again, then? I was wanting to argue. But, I can't argue with you since we're on the same side.

If their not happy about our laws then they dont need to come here do they???

They would build up a big fuss if we went to their country and done the same thing.

and thats why I say fuck 'em!!

It's not that they're not happy with your laws, they still follow your laws. They just also follow their own religious laws as well.

We need a serious limitation on immigration, not because our culture is being eroded or we're being overthrown from within, but simply because we're a fucking tiny island and we're growing in population faster than any other EU country, which is ridiculous. There really isn't much room left for anyone, Muslim or otherwise.

The BNP are a political joke and won't be able to organise anything past "ALL BROWNFACES OUT". We need to have a working immigration policy that allows job-seekers in. It's a piss-take when a hooked-hand moron is hobbling round Finsbury calling for the destruction of Britain while at the same time living off state benefits, any people like that should get the boot straight away, but that's an extreme minority. I know quite a few muslims and (what a shocker) none want to see carbombs going off in London or a load of Brits being beheaded.

I want Gary to get back on and argue with me. He's on the extreme opposite end of where I'm coming from. He's always fun to talk to about this sorta stuff.

That's for official employment status and really does nothing at all. Waiters, cleaners, and pretty much all labour can and is being paid cash in hand and are so hard to detect. I meant stopping people before they even get inside the country.

as an addendum to the previous page, (and probably the rest of the thread) can't we just say fuck religion and be done with. I agree that most religious people take the teachings of peace and love and all that good stuff and follow that, but there are those who misinterpret (and sometimes just plain don't listen to) what's being said and take an extremist view. so better safe than sorry, ban religion.
