What Stunt Groups Are Shooting In Hd?

Any groups out there shooting in HD? Please let me know, possibly a future project. With Panasonic HVX200 preferably, but can work with Most HDV cameras.

Theres only a handfull groups but SPDST is developing some things hoping others will join the cause.

We're slowly getting back into it. I just want to put out a DVD when it's all said and done, regardless of how many people buy it.

Yeah, we have 2 HD cameras and we try to have at least one of them on hand at all times.

Full Force (us) I have 2 hdv cameras
WPF has 1
TSE has 2 HDV's
Gomp has like 100
MIA has 2
I think I have seen a pic of webby with a sony hdv cam as well.

EDIT 2: the hvx-200 is amazing I used the 24p mode and o my god it was the most amazing thing iv ever seen, bmx'ing has never been so epic. the only down side is its to big and heavy.

HDR HC1 and HC3, and by spring will have a 3ccd also most likely dvx100.


We film on and off and have lots planned.

We've been filming quite a bit recently. Which is really reassuring for In Harm's Way as it's starting to look gooood.

I dont see much of a point in hd camera's until you can sell your shit in hd, and blank blu ray discs are like $17 each and hd-dvd is a dead format already. better quality is always better quality, but the format isnt that useful yet.

Unless the camera has a built in HDV to SDV conversion when capturing as it makes the quality so much noticably better.

Im buyin an hd cam as soon as we get the money from the game show we won.

If you're using the HC7, it's built in. On the PLAY/EDIT menu, go into the P-MENU and on page 2/3 go on I.LINK CONV and select 'ON HDV>DV' and all you need to do is select HDV as the record format, then when you capture it converts it to SD but maintains the HDV sexyness.

If you're not using a Sony then all I can suggest is google for a method of converting outside of when capturing.

pff HC7 its all about the HC9 (the HC7 in BLACK) and sweet I shall test this out. these sony cams keep getting better and better.
