Colour Correction Help!?

I got two pc screens running and both showing the same image but differnetly.. ones bright and light and the others dark and I dont know which Screen is wrong and its making work hard.

anyone know any good programmes or hardware to help with perfect colour correction?

if each screen by it self looks fine, theres nothing wrong with either of them.

yeah but I do alot of photoshop stuff for uni and work etc so colour is quite important and didnt relaise how far off my screen(s) were till I sent the image to another pc where it looked all kinds of wrong.

so I need something to get it sorted.. I found this, Pantone huey Pro which looks really good, just a bit pricey

u cant adjust your moniter setting? brightness/contrast/gamma/colors n shit?

Screen calibrators usually cost a shit load. I've used Colormunki and xrite eye-one, they are both expensive. But who says you need to pay for them... (Unfortunately, I had to). I'd say try duran's idea. Are they both the same type of monitor?

because doing it like that is on what I think the colours should look like. and what I think the colours etc should look like could and is off from what they should actually look like.
Hence why I want something that will set it up for me to the correct settings.

I think your being ridiculous about this but then again im partially colorblind and dont do photoshop shit. but everyone sets their monitor to how they view it as right. so no matter what you do, everyone else will variate. over all shades and brightness's shouldn't effect much of shit.

yeah I no im being bit ridiculous too but its been bothering me for awhile and at uni I had to keep adjusting my work from my home PC to what looked right on the Uni comps that had been colour corrected.
And as long as I make mine correct il be happy cos then I wont be worrying if its my screen or the customers etc
Also will help when I print stuff cos it always looks different on screen then when I print.

Spend the £45, especially if it has good reviews. It will be worth it when you print and when your doing jobs for people.

try using more then 2 colors....ahh fack it
