Yes you can, but I suggest you don't. Get a firewire cable.

Although you could steal Steve-O's idea of asking people to staple dollars to you. They give you a dollar and get to staple it to you. We made 61 dollars doing that once. Someone paid 10 dollars just to staple it to one of our guys sacks.

Did the cam not come with capturing software? That's what I used when I got my first mini dv cam. Now I just use Adobe Premiere Pro.

nope the camera didnt come with any software
but we have adobe premier pro
we just need to know to upload the vids to the computer
we connected the usb cable from the camera to the computer but we dont know how to get the stunts onto the computer -.-

I would just say hold out for a firewire cable dude. It doesn't take much to make a funny and entertaining get rich (well enough to buy a cable) scheme. DO IT!

Dude, firewire cables aren't even expensive, you can get them for like, $20

I had to get a firewire. I couldn't use just a usb.

Do you not get a message box saying the computers found new hardware? In the bottom right. If not do you have a CD which came with your cam? That will prolly have USB driver, etc.

Really though, get a firewire, it's just plug and play, meaning, you just plug it in and it works, plus you'll get the full benefit of your cams video quality.

Film a stunt, get a worthy cam, upload threw atmost $50 worth of hardware Circuit City can hook you up with.

Wish them onto the computer.

I think you actually have to do the stunt on the computer itself...
