Alright, well Matt and I have (briefly) discussed a collaborative video for all of us to take part in. The idea is for everyone willing to be involved to film their own part for the infomercial about how HGF has changed your life.
We want the tone to be serious. Feel free to be creative and over-act in any way you feel would be appropriate, but don't make it too outrageous. The goal is to create a cohesive piece to persuade internet users in the world to come to HGF and take part in our community. Of course, we don't actually care if we achieve this goal or not, but think of that as the theme for the overall piece.
Feel free to do anything you want to for your part - interview individual members of your group, do a skit with your entire group, if you're a loner on here that's fine too. Anything you want to do really, but remember the over-arching theme we have going here. There's really not too many time requirements, but nothing too long I guess would be a good way to look at it.
Anyone on here is invited to take part in this project. Discuss it with your crew (or just think about it privately on your own) and let me know in this thread if you're willing to participate. I would like to see some veteran members/groups film at least something to contribute, but of course it's entirely optional.
I can do the part of the host, but if you guys think you can do a better job of it than I can, feel free to volunteer yourselves. I can't gaurentee that I'll have Mike (my right-hand man) available to film it, so it may NEED to be someone else. In which case, I will be more than happy to type up a brief script for a host to read from or just to take cues and ideas from. Let me know if you're interested in being our Host!
I realize that we've tried things like this in the past, and they've never worked. But, might as well keep trying until it does, hopefully this one will work out. Thanks guysssss.
